The Information Website for the Health & Welfare of the St Bernard

Visual Health Assessments

These Visual Health Assessments are Voluntary, but all data collected will help towards our goal of being removed from the Category 3 breeds list, so we encourage as many of you attending to have an assessment done.
These Assessments are in NO WAY connected to the Veterinary Checks required at CH shows to confirm a CH title, or to enable the Best of Breed exhibit to continue on to compete in the group.  These are purely for data collection so that we have a better understanding of the health status of our breed, so that we can in the future apply to be removed from the category 3 breeds list.

The Vet in attendance is also not available for these checks. He/She is there purely at the invitation of the Club to undertake the Visual Health Assessment for Data Collection.
For more details  please contact Tanya Booth (H&W Assessment Co-ordinator) or 01636 613523
Places are limited & will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
